Dr. Richard Schilsky, past president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, said “this is very serious, particularly the shortage of cancer drugs.”
“Patients are being called everyday by their oncologist being told that they have to delay their treatment because the drug isn’t available,” Schilsky noted. “We have had to set priority lists of which patients are going to get treatment, because we don’t always have an adequate drug supply. And it varies week-to-week; sometimes day-to-day.” This was a report from US News!
I was watching the local evening news when the report about this shortage was broadcast. By the end of the report, I was in tears watching a lady that has cancer and has not received her meds in two months, cry, ” Make more, I just want to live, I just want to live, please!” OMG! How do you people sleep at night knowing you are killing people, and why, for your greed! You are the first to speak out about this country going Socialist, well maybe when it comes to this, we should be! How dare Drug companies play God, “who shall live and who shall die,” I’m sure your family is getting their meds! And to those Tea Party supporters, are you going to cry out when it’s your family who can’t get the needed meds to save their life?
