Gambling for Charity

On a recent trip to Ontario, Canada I visited the OLG at Georgian Downs Casino. It turned out to be a profitable stop. The casino gave me $10.00 free play, I didn’t win on that money, but did end up winning on my money. Thank you Michael Jackson machine, on a 40 cent spin, I won 8,000 pennies or $80.00. I hit the cash out button real fast and took my money with me! as I was leaving the Casino, I noticed they had a box on the wall with cash slips stuffed inside. I took a moment to read that the money collected was given to charity! If you’ve ever cashed out with only a few cents and were done gambling, what did you do with the money? I have paid it forward and given the slip to a player and wished them luck. If every Casino had the Charity Box at the door, I would put my slip into it for sure. I think I’ll send this suggestion to out Hollywood Casino here in Toledo and see if they will pick up on this idea!

It’s been two weeks since I sent this suggestion to Hollywood Casino! No reply have I received. Now it seems to me that the least they could do is let me know they received the e-mail. Just a heads up to any business, if you post a comment section on your website, then have the common courtesy to respond to them in a timely manner!
